This is to say a big thank you for all your effort and time to make sure everything went smoothly on the day.

Could you also pass on my many thanks to the entertainment crews that you arranged on our behalf, they all went down very well with the children and I was very impressed myself with what I saw of them on the day. I have had some lovely feedback commenting on how well the day went.

Could I also say thank you for the photographer because he managed to achieve the nearly impossible task of getting those photos back before the children left. They turned out great.

Just to let you know that the event on Friday was a great success! I think we managed to raise about £2000 through the various events.

I have completed the paperwork, so fingers crossed the cheque should arrive by early next week - latest end of the next week.

Thanks to the lads who ran the ideas.

I should be grateful if you would pass on my thanks to Ruben Slater and his team for their efforts on Friday 1st July bearing in mind the trouble they went to in bringing down the dodgems and having to dismantle them at the end of the party. The dodgems and the two other rides were a great success with everyone enjoying their time on the various rides. The photographer managed to get a number of excellent photographs of various members of the family enjoying themselves on the dodgems which I know the duchess is highly delighted with.

Having the dodgems was without doubt one of the best decisions made in connection with this event and I have to say that the whole evening went off almost without a hitch, so I should be grateful if you would be kind enough to send a copy of this letter to Ruben thanking him for his considerable amount of time spent at Alnwick during that week.
